Smoking this Chinook Haze will make you think your on the beach in The Caribbean with a Tropical Daiquiri! Tangerine Haze was bred in Amsterdam, but selected in the United States by the Devil's Harvest Krew back in '03-'04. The cross on Tangerine Haze is (G13 Haze x NYCD). Several people from Devil's Harvest Krew took packs of the G13 Haze x NYCD and popped then, compared females amongst the other growers, and narrowed down the phenotype pool to the one strain we know today as the Tangerine Haze. Alone, Tangerine Haze is heavy on the Sativa side, but finishes pretty early for the amount of Sativa in her. She is done around 65 days, and will start to lose that citrus terpene profile the longer you take her, unless you want a heavier effect, and not so much worried about the smell and taste. She does like to have some room to stretch, but wit the Star Dawg in the Tangerine Haze, expect to see a little less stretch on some phenotypes, and more resin production.

The aroma and flavors to be something similar to an orange tire rubber, sour citrus soda syrup, fermented tangerines, grapefruit and pine Ozium, fruity vinegar, citrus Listerine, and an ammonia and bleach bomb with some Orangina mixed in. Expect for her to give off a wide spectrum of effects depending on the phenotype you select. Energetic, speedy, racy, heart-pumping, focused, and ready for a long night out, all the way down to lethargic, lazy, narcotic, delayed reactions, spaced-out, daydream heavy, stress-relieving, and excellent for relaxing after a long day at work, or wanting to sit down, relax, and enjoy a movie. She might want to get tall, so make sure you trellis her to try and maximize on your space. For the amount of Sativa in her, she will finish pretty early, but no longer than 11 weeks flowering.
The Tangerine Haze will show most of its dominance in most phenotypes, so if you find a heavy Star Dawg-leaning version, you just struck gold! That Star Dawg takes the citrus terps in the Tangerine Haze to another level! Don't let the word "Haze" steer you away from this strain because you think it might take long. Chinook Haze might be a little longer than your average indica your growing right now by a week or 2, but the difference a week or 2 could be might surprise you!
